Progress Update – Main Mechanic Complete!
Hey everyone,
I’m back with another update on Temporal Tides! 🎉 I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve finished implementing the game’s main mechanic—the ability to shift between the temple’s vibrant past and its crumbling present. This core feature is now up and running, and it’s already adding some exciting depth to the gameplay.
Now that this key piece is in place, I’m focusing on setting up the puzzles and designing the layout of the temple. 🧩 The puzzles will be closely tied to the timeline-shifting mechanic, challenging you to think creatively as you navigate between timelines to solve them and unlock new areas.
As for the visuals, I’m still working with programmer art at this stage, so things are looking pretty basic for now. 🎨 But even in its rough state, the gameplay is starting to come together, and it’s been awesome to see the game’s potential take shape!
That’s it for this update—just wanted to keep you all in the loop with what’s been happening. I’ll be diving deeper into puzzle design and fleshing out the temple’s layout in the days to come, so stay tuned for more updates!
